Who We are.
The SOUTH AFRICAN BLACK AUTOMOTIVE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (SABACCI) is a federation of South African black automotive business organizations or formations and at less extent, individual entrepreneur/s. It is a unisectoral chamber and is committed to systematically address the challenges of poverty, inequality and unemployment through developing informal black automotive entrepreneurs by equipping them in skill training, relevant compliance, accreditation, effective business management science and a monitored an ongoing mentorship support system. The aim is to develop these entrepreneurs to be on a level where they can be able to participate in the mainstream economy of the country and successfully compete on any internationally platform.
our aim.
To establish a formidable and relevant vehicle, condition or atmosphere wherein the equality in this sector can be effectively and permanently realized by giving Black entrepreneurs meaningful opportunity to participate in the mainstream economy of the Automotive Sector locally and abroad. We believe this is not a negotiable intention as it is in line with the statement of the Freedom Charter which forms ultimately the basis of the constitution of the country with regard to equality.
Where do you find us.
While the Head Office is in Gauteng Province Republic of South Africa, SABACCI is presented in all provinces of South Africa using its Provincial and regional offices. The ultimate intention is that SABACCI be present in the entire Sub-Sahara Africa, the BRICS countries as well as any other country internationally where possible.
Participation is everything
Working with all relevant stakeholders, the OEMS, NAACAM, NAAMSA, AIDC, T-VET COLLEGES, CSIR, the government departments and its agencies we will establish clear and decisive policies, regulations and plans that seek to ensure proper and permanent up-lifting of the black entrepreneurs through proper interventions like training etc. Women and youth will receive priority in all fairness. This will also include procurement of suitable land in and or near the townships and develop Industrial Parks for the sole purpose of making sure we have competitive entrepreneurs operating in right areas.
